Hi, and welcome to the new UCB Psych 125 class Wiki project. Let's use it to create a high-quality open-access course reader on the developing brain.
Best,
Silvia Bunge

CLOSERS:
1. Click on 'Chapters' to find your topic folder.
2. Create a folder within that topic folder called 'First drafts', as I have done for 'Adolescent Brain'.
3. Move all the first drafts into this topic folder, and download them to your computer if you don't already have them.
4. Create a new web page within the topic folder for each of the first drafts (as I have done in 'Adolescent Brain') to create a web-editable version of the essay that others can comment on or edit. The way to do this is to 'create a new page', and upload the essay document from your computer, and name the page [lastname firstname].
5. Now, both you and the assigned reviewers can add timestamped comments on an essay.
6. Create another page within your topic folder titled 'Closer Intro', and one titled 'Closer Conclusion'. You can start adding to these files as/after you read through the individual essays.
7. If you have any questions, please e-mail me -- sbunge@berkeley.edu

If you have trouble naming a folder 'First drafts', name it 'First drafts Prenatal Development' or whatever is your topic.

EVERYONE:
Please comment on each others' essays using the comment box associated with a given essay web page. If the essay pages have not yet been created from the word docs, please follow the instructions to closers (above) to create them for your section. There is no need to upload anything more to bSpace - please use this Wiki site from now on to refine your essay and each others'.

Please use a different color of text (say, green or blue) when editing each others' documents directly, so that the author can easily see the proposed changes. In some cases, it will be easier to modify the text directly, and in other cases a note or a question in the comment box might be more appropriate. This Wiki experiment will be a success if you engage in dialogue with each other.
